Through an open online domestic bidding procedure, Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (HOSE: C47) — A member of the JV Contractors including Lung Lo Construction Corporation, Song Da Corporation – JSC, SCI E&C Joint Stock Company, Truong Son Construction Corporation, and LILAMA 10 Joint Stock Company — was awarded the Package XL04-TAMR: Construction and installation works for Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project, with contract value of VND 1,451 billion and contract duration of 960 days.

On June 3, 2025, in Hanoi, Vietnam Electricity (EVN), Power Project Management Board No. 3 (EVNPMB3), and the JV Contractors held the Contract Signing Ceremony for Package XL04-TAMR: Construction and Installation of Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project under Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project in Dong Nai Province.

Attending the Signing ceremony, on the side of EVN leadership, were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – EVN General Director, along with Members of the Board and Deputy General Directors of the Group. Representing the JV contractor were: Mr. Duong Minh Quang – Member of the Board and General Director of Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (C47); and senior representatives from Lung Lo Construction Corporation, Song Da Corporation – JSC, SCI E&C JSC, Truong Son Construction Corporation, and LILAMA 10 JSC. Also in attendance were representatives from the loan arrangers: KfW Development Bank (Germany) and JSC Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).

Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project, located in Dong Nai Province, has been approved by the Prime Minister as part of National Power Development Plan for Period 2021–2030, with vision to 2050. The project is invested by EVN and directly managed by EVNPMB3, with total investment of VND 3,965 billion and installed capacity of 200 MW (including 2 units of 100 MW each). The project is financed by 30% equity capital and 70% commercial loans from KfW and BIDV.

According to the implementation schedule, Unit No. 1 is expected to be commissioned in Q3/2027, and Unit No. 2 and the entire project are scheduled for completion in Q4/2027.

Package XL04-TAMR is the main work package of the project, with scope of works that includes: Inlet canal, Intake, Penstock, Powerhouse, Tailrace canal, power plant connection to the existing power grid, and various auxiliary works for construction, etc.

Winning and signing the contract for works of Package XL04-TAMR of Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project, C47 once again reaffirms its capability and reputation in executing large-scale hydropower projects. With contract value of VND 1,451 billion, awarded through transparent and electronic domestic competitive bidding procedure, this achievement demonstrates C47’s outstanding competitiveness and technical excellence in professional tendering environment. This project not only marks significant milestone in C47’s development strategy but also contributes positively to ensuring national energy security and promoting the sustainable development of Vietnam’s power sector.

Recently, on May 31, 2025, Faculty of Hydraulic Construction, University of Science and Technology – University of Danang organized the Workshop “Job and recruitment trends in the construction sector”, Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (HOSE: C47) was honored to participate and share the Company’s job orientation and recruitment needs in 2025 and the following years.

Attending the Workshop, on behalf of the University of Science and Technology – University of Danang, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Ngoc Duong, Head of the Faculty of Hydraulic Construction, leaders of the Faculties in the Construction sector, Centers, functional units and more than 100 students from the following majors: Construction Informatics, Hydraulic Engineering, Engineering and Management of Smart Urban Construction and other majors in the construction sector of the University of Science and Technology. On the business side, attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Head of Organization – Administrative Department representing Construction Joint Stock Company 47; Mr. Le Long representing Hanabi Joint Stock Company; Mr. Susumu Ogawa representing Sankyu Inc. (Japan); Danang Information Technology and Telecommunications Center; iNC BIM Vietnam Engineering Technology Joint Stock Company. In addition, the Workshop was also attended by Mr. Terado Hirotsugu representing the Consulate General of Japan in Danang.

At the workshop, C47 representative, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, shared frankly and openly about the recruitment needs as well as the human resource development orientation of the Company. “At present time, the construction sector, especially the irrigation and hydropower sectors, are in great need of generation of young engineers with modern thinking, able to withstand work pressure, and ready to work at the construction site. C47 always welcomes students who are passionate about their profession, eager to learn and want to join with the Company for long time”. In the coming time, C47 will continue to implement many large-scale projects at home and abroad, requiring a team of personnel who are not only good at their profession but also flexible and quick to adapt to actual construction conditions. Therefore, the Company is particularly interested in recruiting and training freshly graduated engineers, through direct recruitment programs from prestigious technical universities, including the University of Science and Technology – University of Danang.

On April 29, 2025, in Nong Hed district, Xieng Khouang province, Lao PDR, the EPC Contractor Consortium comprising Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (CC47) and Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 3 (PECC3), with CC47 played role as the Consortium Leader and the Employer – Nam Neun 1 Hydropower Sole Co., Ltd. held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Nam Neun Hydropower Project 1.

The Ceremony was conducted with dignity and solemnity, graced by the presence of many high-ranking dignitaries, including H.E. Sonexay Siphandone, Member of the Politburo of the Party Central Committee, Prime Minister of Lao PDR; Mr. Phoxay Xayyasone, Minister of Energy and Mines; Mr. Phouvong Luangxana, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment; Mr. Buangeun Houmxayyaphom, Deputy Governor of Xieng Khouang Province; Mr. Phonesouk Inthavong, Deputy Governor of Houaphanh Province; Mr. Sithat Xaysoulivong, Chairman of ST Group. The Event also welcomed leaders from various Laos ministries, central agencies, and local residents from the project area.

On behalf of the Employer, the Ceremony was attended by Mr. Sounthone Sabandith, Managing Director and Mr. Soulideth Baomanikhoth, Project Manager of Nam Neun 1 Hydropower Sole Co., Ltd. Representing the EPC Contractor Consortium by Mr. Pham Nam Phong, Chairman of CC47; Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hoang Tuan, Chairman of PECC3; representatives of the Executive Board, leaders of departments from CC47 and PECC3; representatives of leaders and employees of Nam Neun 1 construction site attended the Ceremony also.

Nam Neun 1 Hydropower Project, located in Phieng Hong Village, Nong Hed District, consists of two generating units with total installed capacity of 124MW. The project is invested by Nam Neun 1 Hydropower Sole Co., Ltd. and stands as a hallmark of effective collaboration between Vietnam and Laos in the EPC and energy production sector. More than just an energy infrastructure project, Nam Neun 1 is a symbol of cross-border partnership and shared sustainability goals. Once operational, the plant will deliver a stable, environmentally friendly power source, support socio-economic development, improve local livelihoods, and export electricity to Vietnam via a 220kV transmission line.

Speaking on behalf of the Consortium, Mr. Pham Nam Phong, Chairman of CC47, reaffirmed the EPC Contractor’s commitment to adhere to international construction standards; Fully comply with technical requirements and Laos regulations; Ensure timely, high-quality, safe, and environmentally responsible execution; Deliver the project as per the signed contract schedule.

The Groundbreaking Ceremony of Nam Neun 1 Hydropower Project marks a meaningful start, reaffirming CC47’s determination to deliver renewable energy projects and contribute to a green, sustainable future for Lao PDR and the broader region.

On April 23, 2025, at the 11th floor Hall, Building C47 – Hai Au Bien Cuong Hotel, No. 8 Bien Cuong Str., Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province, Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (HOSE: C47) held the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM). The Meeting took place with participation of 45 shareholders owned and authorized to represent 22,657,325 voting shares, accounting for 62.34% of total voting capital.

At the General Meeting, shareholders listened to and discussed on the Performance Reports on the Board of Directors (BOD) in 2024, the Review of the 5-year term (2020 – 2024) and the 2025 Operation Plan; Report of the Independent Member of the BOD in the Audit Committee in 2024 and the 2025 Operating Plan; Reports of the BOD submitted to the AGM and election of BOD members for term 2025 – 2030, and other important issues.

Reporting at the General Meeting, Mr. Pham Nam Phong shared: With the general context of the economy still facing many difficulties after the Covid-19 pandemic, the consumer price index in the market is unstable, especially the prices of materials such as: Iron, steel, cement, gasoline, etc., bank credit finance is increasingly tightening, the disbursement and payment of outstanding debt capital of the Employer for some of the Company’s construction projects with private capital is still slow, etc. However, with the direction of the BOD, the Executive Board always closely follows the actual situation, balances resources, focuses on acceptance, payment and capital recovery to flexibly and promptly meet the production activities of C47 in each stage, ensuring the progress and quality of construction projects, especially key projects such as: Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant Expansion Project (Hoa Binh province), Nam Phak Hydropower Project (Lao PDR), Kazam Reservoir Project (Lao PDR), etc. and some other projects.

In 2024, the BOD focused on directing the Executive Board and actively participating in bidding. Thereby, C47 and its JV members signed the EPC Contract for Nam Neun 1 Hydropower Project in Lao PDR, with total contract value of 184,999,999 USD (equivalent to 4,500 billion VND). In addition, C47 also signed many contracts to construct domestic projects with capital from the State budget such as: Suoi Cai Reservoir Project (Phu Yen province), worth 121.4 billion VND; Ke Go Reservoir, Bac Ai Pumped Storage Hydropower Project (phase 2) with value of C47’s portion is 164.7 billion and 359.5 billion VND, respectively.

Regarding the business plan and profit distribution in 2025, C47 targets total revenue of VND 1,500 billion, after-tax profit of VND 40 billion, minimum dividend payout ratio of 10%, payment in cash or shares. C47’s core business is still the construction of domestic and international irrigation and hydropower projects. At the same time, C47 also promotes the development of domestic and international hotel, restaurant, and tourism services to increase revenue and profit to ensure the harmony of interests of shareholders, investors and the Company in 2025 and the following years.

In particular, at this AGM, the General Meeting of Shareholders elected the BOD for term 2025 – 2030. Through the election results, the C47’s BOD for term 2025 – 2030 has 07 members, including Mr. Pham Nam Phong, Mr. Le Dong Lam, Mr. Duong Minh Quang, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hai, Mr. Vo Trong Hieu, Mr. Bui Quoc Thanh and Ms. Chu Thi Tu Anh. The new Board of Directors held its first meeting and elected Mr. Pham Nam Phong to assume title as the Chairman of the BOD and Mr. Le Dong Lam to assume title as the Vice Chairman of the BOD (non-executive member) for term 2025 – 2030.

The 2025 AGM of Construction Joint Stock Company 47 ended in joyful atmosphere, demonstrating the consensus and high trust of shareholders, this is the motivation for the BOD and Executive Board of C47 to continue to strive, improve operational efficiency and develop the business sustainably in the coming time.
