The Second River Blocking – Dong Mit Reservoir Project, Binh Dinh province

On January 3, 2020, Hydraulic Project Investment and Construction Management Board 6 under Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Employer) and Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (Leader Contractor of Joint Venture) organized the Second River Blocking of Dong Mit Reservoir Project located in An Trung commune, An Lao district, Binh Dinh province.

Overview of water flow before river diversion.

Dong Mit Reservoir Project commenced on February 24, 2019, up to now, the Main Contractor is Construction Joint Stock Company 47, which has endeavored to complete the construction of main works such as: Diversion Culverts; Upstream channel and Downstream channel; RCC Main Dam from Section 10 to Right Abutment reached to Elevation of 68.7m; Access Roads, etc., ensured the conditions for river diversion through Diversion Culverts.

Signing the Construction Contract for Package 19.1-XD, Bac Ai Pumped-Storage Hydropower Project in Ninh Thuan Province

On 17 December 2019 in Ho Chi Minh city, Power Project Management Unit 3 – the branch of Vietnam Electricity Group ( Investor ) and Construction Corporation 47 ( Contractor ) signed the contract of constructing Package 18.1-XD: Constructing Work Cluster of Discharge Gates in Bac Ai Pumped-Storage Hydropower Project.

The discharge gate of Bac Ai Pumped-Storage Hydropower project is located on the left bank of Cai river in the territory of two communes Phuoc Hoa and Phuoc Tan, Bac Ai district, Ninh Thuan province. Scope of work of package includes the following main jobs: Construction of roads for construction; Construction of temporary work items serving construction diversion; Construction of Discharge Channels; Construction of pressure tanks; Execution of discharge door including fabrication, supply and installation of hydro-mechanical equipment; Construction of discharge tunnel, section 3; Auxiliary systems for construction of main works and electricity, water and communication systems for construction. Construction time is 14 months, expected to start on December 23, 2019.

On November 26, 2019, Vietnam Report cooperated with VietNamNet Newspaper to announce VNR500 Ranking – Top 500 Largest Private Enterprises in Vietnam in 2019. This is the 13th consecutive year VNR500 Ranking has been studied and publicized to honor the largest enterprises in Vietnam, reached remarkable achievements in production and business activities.

According to the published Ranking for 2019, Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (CC47) is ranked in “Top 500 Largest Private Enterprises in Vietnam”, this is the 12th consecutive year CC47 is honored to VNR500 Ranking.

The official announcement and honoring ceremony of VNR500 Ranking for 2019 is scheduled to be held on January 9, 2020 at InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 Hotel in Hanoi.

Update the construction photos of Ngoi Gianh Reservoir Project

Project scale: Including a Main dam by gravity concrete with lenght of 245.41m, height of 69.20m; Spillway (free flowing and gate) design flow is 1,353m3/s; Auxiliary dam by earth with lenght of 75m and 15m in high; Water supply pipeline with diameter 1.6m and 1.6km in long.
