Invitation to Bid for Package NN1_LD-GT10: Installation of Electromechanical Equipment – Nam Neun 1 Hydropower Plant, Lao PDR

Construction Joint Stock Company 47, representing the EPC Contractor of the Nam Neun 1 Hydropower Project in Xiangkhouang Province, Lao PDR, announces the invitation to bid for Package NN1_LD-GT10: Installation of Electromechanical Equipment – Nam Neun 1 Hydropower Plant, Lao PDR, with general information as follows:

1. Project Name: Nam Neun 1 Hydropower.
2. General Project Information:

• • Nam Neun 1 Hydropower Plant, with an installed capacity of 124 MW, is constructed on Nam Neun River at PhiengHong Village, Nong Het District, Xiangkhouang Province, Lao PDR. The plant includes 02 Francis turbine units (2x62MW).

3. Package Name and Code:

• • Package: Installation of electromechanical equipment for the plant.

• • Code: NN1_LD-GT10.

4. Main Scope of Work:

• • Main equipment:

• • • Installation of 02 generating units.

• • • Installation of auxiliary mechanical equipment.

• • • Installation of plant electrical equipment.

• • The scope of work for the package includes the following main responsibilities:

• • • Receiving equipment provided by the Purchaser, storing materials from the Purchaser’s warehouse at the site.
    • Transporting equipment and materials to the installation site.
    • Assembling and installing electromechanical equipment as per the manufacturer’s instructions based on drawings, manuals, and related documents approved by the Purchaser.
    • Complying with industrial hygiene procedures during execution as required by the manufacturer in assembling and installing equipment at the site.
    • Coordinating with the Purchaser, the Employer, equipment suppliers, and commissioning contractors during assembly, making necessary modifications to installations/connections to bring the equipment into operation.
    • Providing insurance for the installation works of electromechanical equipment.
    • Compensating the Purchaser for any damage or loss of property caused by the Contractor’s fault during contract execution.
    • Compensating third-party liabilities including health, life, and property as stipulated in the signed contract.
    • Other tasks necessary to complete the assembly and installation of electromechanical equipment.

5. Contract Type: Lump sum.
6. Funding Source: Project financial resources under the EPC contract, settled/disbursed by Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB Bank).
