Roller compacted concrete work at Dong Mit Construction Site was completed 15 days ahead of schedule

Under the impacts of extreme weather and serious pandemic situation, “CC47’ people keep moving forward regardless of time, challenges, difficulty awaiting them to fulfill the tasks excellently, we are grateful and respective to your contribution” said the leaders of CC47 for the whole staff of Dong Mit Construction site. The statement was made in the night of August 16th 2021 when final RCC blocks were completed on the top of dam. It is estimated about 15 days ahead of the construction schedule.

The Contractor began to create the very first concrete blocks on July 2019, it is estimated that more than 350,000 blocks were made at the construction site after 25 months. The existence of a huge dam in the middle of nature proves the ‘infinite human ability”, particularly CC47’ humans who always bear ‘strong determination” in their minds to hold firm the CC47 brand. Mr Duong Minh Quang, general director of CC47, could not hold his excitement upon being informed of this achievement.

Dong Mit Reservoir Project is under the project Group A approved by the Prime Minister for investment at Decision No.492/QD-TTg dated April 15th 2017 and permitted by Agriculture and Rural Development for Construction and investment in Dong Mit Reservoir at Decision 3899/QD-BNN-XD dated September 29th 2017 with total investment of 2,140 billion dong. The construction was commenced in February 2019 at An Lao Commune, Binh Dinh Province with the Employer – Irrigation Investment & Construction Management Board 7 under the Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry.

Mr. Pham Nam Phong is appointed as a Chairman of the Board of Management

The Management board of Construction Joint Stock Company 47 appointed Mr. Pham Nam Phong to be a Chairman in the 2020-2025 period instead of Mr. Le Trung Nam. At the same time, Mr.Ta Nam Binh, a former member of the Board, now becomes the Vice Chairman of the Board. Mr. Le Trung Nam is assigned to take the position of Chairman of Auditing Committee under the Management Board.

Mr. Pham Nam Phong – A new Chairman of CC47

Mr. Pham Nam Phong, born in 1983, achieved a master degree of Project Management and Investment. Mr. Phong was appointed Vice Chairman of CC47 in June 2020. In addition, he is also the Chairman cum General Director of Vu Phong Solar Power, The Chairman of Vu Phong Tech anD Vu Phong Energy. According to the administration report of the first 6 months, Mr. Pham Nam Phong and the related company account for more than 11.3 % of CC47’s capital.

Mr. Ta Nam Binh, born in 1975, graduated as a master in Business Administration. Mr. Binh is in charge of a member of the Management Board from 2018 until now, simultaneously a Chairman of Sai Gon Value Invest JSC, Tan Son JSC, Sai Gon Travel LTD.

CC47 operates mainly in the field of construction, is constructing many projects such as Dinh Binh reservoir – Binh Dinh province (850 billion VND), Nuoc Trong reservoir – Quang Ngai province (1,052 billion VND), Dong Nai hydropower plant. 4 – Dak Nong province (2,600 billion VND), Thuong Kon Tum hydropower plant – Kon Tum province (1,700 billion VND), Trung Son hydropower plant – Thanh Hoa province (2,959 billion VND). In addition, the company is expanding business lines into the field of hotels, restaurants, domestic and international travel, and labor export.

In the first half of the year, revenue reached 572 billion dong, profit after tax was more than 17 billion dong, up 3% and 29% respectively over the same period last year. Compared to the year plan, the company completed 52% of revenue and 55% of profit.

In the period of 2021 – 2025, CC47 will continue to maintain the traditional business lines as general contractor for irrigation projects, large hydropower projects, water tunnels, etc. In addition, the company will participate in other construction works of wind power and gas power projects, metro tunnels, traffic infrastructure and industrial park’s  infrastructure, expansion of key markets serving the Southeast and Southwest regions.

Investor of Da Nhim Hydropower Plant Expansion Project rewarded CC47 for completion ahead of schedule and labor safety

Contractor Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (HOSE: C47) was awarded 400 million VND by the investor, Da Nhim – Ham Thuan – Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company, for completing the Headrace Tunnel – Da Nhim Hydropower Plant Expansion Project ahead of schedule with high quality, and ensuring labor safety during the construction process.

The CC47 recently completed the 4,908.57-meter-long Headrace Tunnel under the Da Nhim Hydropower Plant Expansion Project ahead of schedule. The Work Item was unanimously approved by the Acceptance Committee, and the CC47 was praised for its high quality construction and strict adherence to labor safety regulations.

Mr. Luu The Bieu, Deputy Director of the Project Management Board, stated at the acceptance meeting, “After a difficult construction period, the Headrace Tunnle of the Da Nhim Expansion Project has been officially completed.” What I like and am proud of is that the tunnel’s quality is excellent, and that the construction site always ensures safe construction conditions for people and equipment.”

As a result, the project investor, Da Nhim – Ham Thuan – Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company, decided to reward 400 million VND to encourage the spirit of the CC47 construction contractor. This amount will be deducted for employees directly involved in the project as well as the general bonus fund for the entire C47 Company.

According to a CC47 representative, CC47 achieved the above achievement because the company’s leadership prioritizes “work safety” in construction. The construction site is a working environment that always contains many potentially dangerous factors, endangering workers’ lives and health. As a result, the company provides adequate protective equipment to employees each year, as well as training and occupational safety certificates based on appropriate groups and ranks. Furthermore, CC47 organizes regular health checks for all employees under the motto “Ensure health, ensure production.”

According to CC47, one of the most important factors determining project productivity, quality, and efficiency is worker protection. CC47 emphasizes this in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic. Activities CC47’s main business is still running smoothly thanks to the implementation of many proactive response measures, such as limiting travel and personnel rotation and implementing three on-site key projects (on-site production – on-site dining – on-site accommodation). As a result, CC47 exceeded its revenue target in the first six months, with total revenue of VND 572 billion and profit after tax of VND 17.1 billion, an increase of 29.45% over the same period in 2020.

Investment construction of the mechanical manufacture & renewal vehicles enterprise at Phuoc An industry area


On September 08, 2014 The People’s Committee of Tuy Phuoc District have issued Document No. 538/UBND-KTHT regarding to Agreement of local and rental area for Construction Joint-stock Company 47 open the investment-project extension 02 stage at Phuoc An Industry Area.

Following above document, People’s Committee of Tuy Phuoc District agreed for hiring Construction Joint-stock Company 47 the block of land No. A8 and No. A7, with 5 hectare area for investment construction the Mechanical Manufacture & Renewal Vehicles Enterprise.

At present, Construction Joint-stock Company 47 is co-operating with staff-departments of Tuy Phuoc District and People’s Committee of Phuoc An commune for completing balance procedure and set-up implement execution the project.

Investment for Dinh Binh Ecotourism Spot

Under approval of Binh Dinh Provincial People Committee about the permittance of CC47 invest and exploit tourism business activities in the Dinh Binh reservoir area at Vinh Hao commune, Vinh Thanh district, Binh Dinh province after constructing Dinh Binh reservoir project to be completed.

CC47 is carrying out survey & detailed plan of this tourism spot. It is expected construction on the basin area of reservoir, with area of over 20 hectares included main sections as: watersport game section, camping section, ecotourism spot, water park; pavilion houses & cabanas.
