On November 25, 2021, at Hai Au Bien Cuong Hotel, No.8 Bien Cuong str., Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province, is taking place the MOU signing ceremony to cooperate for providing clean drinking water stations and other greenhouse gas emission reduction projects among Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (C47), Vu Phong Energy Group JSC and Investment and Trading Consulting Company Limited (INTRACO).
The Signing Ceremony attending by Mr. Tran Van Minh, Vice Director of Binh Dinh Rural Clean Water and Environmental Sanitation Center under Binh Dinh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Mr. Bui Xuan Hoa – Vice Director of BIDV Binh Dinh; Mr. Pham Nam Phong – Chairman of C47 and Chairman of Vu Phong Energy Group; Mr. Duong Minh Quang – BOD Member and General Director of C47; Mr. Nguyen Quang Tri – CEO of Vu Phong Energy Group; Mr. Hoang Anh Dung – Director of INTRACO and leaders of three companies and partners.
At the Ceremony, representatives of three companies signed memorandum of understanding for establishment of a joint venture to product, construct, install and operate water purification stations providing hygienic drinking water in order to improve community health. The project goal is to build and install about 1,000 water purification stations per year in nation-wide provinces and cities, each with capacity of 2,000 liters per hour, so that many people, especially poor, near-poor and preferential treatment households have access to hygienic drinking water. After that, the project can expand to afforestation and marine ecosystem protection.
Mr. Pham Nam Phong – Chairman of C47 mentioned at the Signing Ceremony, that C47 is a leading company on the construction of irrigation and hydroelectric projects. Therefore, the water security and the clean water story for sustainable development are much appropriate to C47 and bringing the community value. Through the project, we want to help people all over the country, especially in Binh Dinh province could access to clean water sources, contribute to improve the living environment and people health. At the same time, join hands with the government for realization of sustainable development goals, especially goals on water resources – water security.
The tripartite cooperation among C47 – Vu Phong Energy Group – INTRACO has the meaning of marking an important milestone to build an ecosystem of businesses with practical projects for benefit of the community, contributing to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially the Goals on water resources – water security. This project is also a joint effort towards the greenhouse gas emissions reduction goal – following the spirit of the Prime Minister’s commitment at COP26 to Zero Emissions by 2050.
