Amid the intense construction tempo on the vast Nam Neun 1 Hydropower site — where every cubic metre of earth and rock is moved by the will and mettle of CC47 workers — the programme launching the emulation campaign for the second half of 2026 unfolded in an atmosphere of energy, determination and inspiration. This was not merely an internal activity, but a powerful call for all officers, engineers and workers to rally around a common goal: “Conquering every progress milestone, affirming CC47’s capabilities on one of Laos’ key hydropower projects”.
The programme was attended by Mr. Pham Nam Phong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Construction Joint Stock Company 47; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hai – Member of the Board of Directors and Standing Deputy General Director of the Company, together with the Project Management Board, the commanders of the construction packages, representatives of strategic subcontractors, and a large number of officers and workers who are on site day and night.

In an open yet spirited atmosphere, Chairman of the Board of Directors Pham Nam Phong shared an overview of the Company’s production and business performance in the first half of the year, with many positive signals. These results are clear evidence that CC47 has chosen the right direction in a market still full of challenges. In particular, the Chairman acknowledged the important contributions of the Nam Neun 1 project – a work that is steadily affirming its role as a growth driver, generating revenue and expanding CC47’s standing in the international market.

More important than the figures themselves was the message of trust placed in CC47’s people. This is trust in the teams who have been working deep in the mountains and forests, overcoming harsh construction conditions to turn drawings into real structures. Mr. Pham Nam Phong stressed that the road ahead still holds considerable pressure, but it also opens up opportunities for every team and every individual to prove their mettle through results, through schedule performance and through the quality of each work item.
Responding to the call, representatives of the Site Management Board together with the commanders of the construction packages carried out the signing ceremony of the emulation pledge, demonstrating their determination to complete the key objectives of the second half of the year. The signatures set down are not only commitments on progress, output or executed value, but also a promise of responsibility, discipline, safety and quality – the very values that have built the CC47 brand on every project.

Under the emulation pledge, the entire site will concentrate its resources on completing key milestones such as river diversion through the tunnel, accelerating construction of the CFRD dam, the water intake, the powerhouse and the headrace tunnel, while absolutely ensuring all requirements on occupational safety and technical quality, and fulfilling the 2026 production value plan.
As the ceremony drew to a close, the emulation spirit spread strongly among every officer, engineer and worker. The handshakes, the commitments and the determined looks created a special atmosphere – one aimed not only at achieving the targets of the second half of the year, but also at the aspiration to make Nam Neun 1 a new milestone for CC47 on its journey of reaching international stature.
Many challenges still lie ahead. Yet with the unity of the collective, the resolve of the Board of Management and the spirit of “Courage – Responsibility – Integrity – Innovation – Solidarity”, the great Nam Neun 1 site is ready to enter its acceleration phase, turning determination into action, turning commitments into results, and together achieving a resounding victory in all objectives for 2026.
