On March 8, 2025, the “Green Journey, Digital Knowledge” project was inaugurated and handed over at Ky Hai Primary & Secondary School, Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh Province. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the main sponsors, including Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (CC47), Vu Phong Energy Group, and implementing units such as Xanh Yêu Thương, AI Education, JCI South Saigon, among others. This event marked the first successful milestone in the project’s journey to improve green infrastructure and promote digital transformation for future generations.
The “Green Journey, Digital Knowledge” Project at Ky Hai Primary & Secondary School
Ky Hai Primary & Secondary School is the first school in the project’s series of initiatives, launched in October 2024. The project focuses on constructing and upgrading key facilities, including: modern and environmentally friendly restroom systems integrated with solar power to ensure students’ living conditions; providing digital learning equipment such as laptops and implementing the Google Workspace for Education ecosystem to enable students to access knowledge through modern methods.
The “Green Journey, Digital Knowledge” project is a multi-stakeholder initiative in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Construction Joint Stock Company 47, aiming to build and enhance infrastructure in schools located in remote areas while promoting digital transformation in education. With a phase-one budget exceeding 5 billion VND, the project is expected to have a positive impact on 5,000 students annually across 10 primary and secondary schools in Vietnam and potentially extend to Southeast Asia.
During the event, Mr. Pham Nam Phong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Construction Joint Stock Company 47 and Vu Phong Energy Group, emphasized: ‘We believe that the project “Green Journey, Digital Knowledge” – a multi-stakeholder initiative at the first school site – not only brings practical changes for students at Ky Hai Primary and Secondary School but also contributes to promoting sustainable development goals by improving infrastructure and enhancing digital transformation in education. I believe this will be one of the key steps towards building a sustainable future for the younger generation.
In addition, following the inauguration, the project implementer, AI Education, will conduct an advanced capacity training program for teachers at the school, applying digital tools to optimize educational efficiency. At the same time, the teachers will be awarded the “Google Educator” certification, granted by Google for Education. This will enable them to apply the Google Workspace for Education ecosystem in their teaching practices.
Continuing the journey of the project in Vinh Thanh district, Binh Dinh Province
Not stopping at Ky Hai, “Green Journey, Digital Knowledge” will continue to expand to other schools in a series of activities. In the next phase, the project is expected to commence construction in early 2025 at the following schools: Vinh Thanh Town Primary School and Vinh Son Ethnic Minority Semi-Boarding Secondary School in Vinh Thanh District, Binh Dinh Province.
