On the afternoon of September 7, 2025, the highlands of Gia Lai witnessed a special moment: the sound of school drums, the innocent laughter of students blending with the vibrant colors of inauguration ribbons. The “Green Journey, Digital Knowledge” project officially came to life at two schools – Vinh Son Semi-boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities and Vinh Thanh Primary School – opening up new, modern, and sustainable learning opportunities.
Vinh Son – 2:00 PM: The beginning of trust
At exactly 2:00 PM, the schoolyard of Vinh Son Semi-boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities joyfully welcomed the presence of Mr. Dinh Hoai Duc – Party Secretary of Vinh Son Commune, Mr. Dinh Cu – Vice Chairman of Vinh Son Commune People’s Committee, Principal Pham Minh Son, together with many teachers and students. Joining the ceremony were Mr. Pham Nam Phong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Construction JSC 47 & Vu Phong Energy Group, Mr. Duong Minh Quang – Member of the BOD, General Director of Construction JSC 47, Mr. Pham Dang An – Deputy General Director of Vu Phong Energy Group. From the co-sponsoring units, Mr. Tran Quoc Dien – Member of the BOD, Deputy General Director of EVNPECC3, Ms. Juca Pham – President of 2025 JCI South Saigon, and the implementing partner Ms. Lam Thuy Ai – Head of Xanh Yeu Thuong NK2 were also present.
In this significant moment, the delegates together cut the red ribbon – a symbol of a new beginning. From now on, the school has additional standard restrooms, a solar lighting system, a bathroom for female students, and especially a computer lab equipped with 25 Chromebooks. These facilities open a new gateway where digital knowledge and green values intertwine, igniting hope in the highlands.

Vinh Thanh – 4:00 PM: Boosting the new school year
At 4:00 PM on the same day, joy spread across Vinh Thanh Primary School. The delegation of CC47, Vu Phong Energy Group, co-sponsoring units, and the implementing partner attended, including Mr. Dinh Drin – Party Secretary of Vinh Thanh Commune, Mr. Le Minh Thong – Chairman of Vinh Thanh Commune People’s Committee, Mr. Dang Huu Lap – Head of Culture and Society Division of Vinh Thanh Commune, Principal Tran Van Trung, along with all teachers and students.
The school is now equipped with new clean restrooms, an environmentally friendly solar power system, and a computer room with 35 Chromebooks together with the Google Workspace for Education ecosystem for all students. These gifts not only improve learning conditions but also bring students closer to the world of digital knowledge, providing them with a stronger foundation for the future.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Nam Phong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Construction JSC 47 & Vu Phong Energy Group expressed his pride in the project’s completion and extended gratitude to local authorities, co-sponsoring partners, teachers, and students for joining hands to realize the “Green Journey, Digital Knowledge.” He emphasized that these are not just physical facilities, but also a long-term commitment to accompanying education in the highlands, building trust, and spreading digital knowledge and green values to future generations.

The strength of the “Green Journey, Digital Knowledge” lies not only in tangible facilities but also in the spirit of sharing. The project is the result of multi-stakeholder collaboration: Construction JSC 47 (HOSE: C47), Vu Phong Energy Group, Xanh Yeu Thuong, AI Education, Sun Edu, JCI South Saigon – Vietnam, and Power Engineering Consulting JSC 3 (PECC3).
From the highland schools of Gia Lai, the story of “Green Journey, Digital Knowledge” proves that knowledge knows no boundaries, and green values can spread to every corner of the country.
The radiant smiles of today are the seeds of tomorrow. Each facility, each computer, each lesson will be a small yet solid step, bringing highland students closer to global knowledge.
The newly inaugurated facilities will continue to be honored at the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Construction JSC 47 on September 8, 2025, at Hai Au – Seagull Hotel, Quy Nhon. In this solemn atmosphere, the official handover ceremony will be held, not only to acknowledge the results but also to reaffirm the long-term commitment of CC47 and its partners to serving the community.
