With the mission: “Providing high-quality, safe and world-class construction solutions, accompanying the development of customers, communities and society”, each construction site of Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (CC47) is not only a place for building engineering works, but also a place where humanistic values are spread and sustainable, responsible connections with local communities are fostered. In the atmosphere approaching the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026, the collective of the Nam Neun 1 Construction Site has continued to implement social activities to welcome Spring 2026 with a profound spirit of sharing. This activity follows the emergency support previously provided to local residents affected by flash floods in Laos in July 2025 when Typhoon Wipha passed through.

On 13 and 14 February 2026 (corresponding to the 26th and 27th days of the lunar calendar), representatives of the Nam Neun 1 Site Management Board organized the distribution of support gifts to three villages: Phieng Hong, Kho San and Hoi Lom in Nong Het District, Xiangkhouang Province, Lao PDR. Each village received 20 gift packages, each consisting of 25 kg of rice, providing practical support to the livelihoods of local residents, particularly in areas facing many difficulties in living conditions.
The gifts delivered directly to the residents were not only material assistance but also a consistent continuation of CC47’s corporate social responsibility activities at the Nam Neun 1 Project. Previously, in July 2025, despite facing numerous challenges and severe impacts from Typhoon Wipha, CC47 ensured the safety of the project and its workforce, while also coordinating with local authorities to receive and hand over relief supplies to the right beneficiaries, demonstrating a strong spirit of companionship with the community where the project is implemented. These activities are not temporary in nature but form a continuous process, clearly reflecting CC47’s development philosophy: “building engineering works in parallel with building social values.”

At the construction site in Laos, where conditions remain challenging, the spirit of “Friendship Spring – Brotherhood Spring” was expressed through sincere handshakes and close interactions between site personnel and villagers. The New Year calendars and bags of rice presented symbolize sharing, corporate responsibility, and the culture of CC47 – always placing people and the community at the center of all development activities.

Therefore, social activities at Nam Neun 1 are not merely welfare programs to welcome the New Year but also vivid evidence of the realization of the mission of Construction Joint Stock Company 47: “accompanying the community” at every project site, especially during difficult times such as natural disasters, as well as during warm spring seasons of sharing and compassion.
