On the morning of November 29, 2025, at the Auditorium on the 11th Floor – Building 47, No. 8 Bien Cuong Street, Quy Nhon Nam Ward, Gia Lai Province, the Grassroots Trade Union of Construction Joint Stock Company 47 solemnly held the 17th Trade Union Congress for the 2025–2030 term. The Congress took place in an atmosphere of dignity, solidarity, and high expectations, marking an event of special significance for the entire workforce of CC47 in its new stage of development.
Overview of the Congress
The Congress was honored to welcome the delegation of the superior Trade Union led by Ms. Phan Thi Hue – Vice President of the Vietnam National Union of Agriculture and Environment Workers, who attended and delivered guidance to the Congress. On the Company’s side, the Congress respectfully welcomed Mr. Pham Nam Phong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Construction Joint Stock Company 47; Mr. Duong Minh Quang – Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director; the Company’s Board of General Directors, together with 92 official delegates representing all trade union members and employees at the Company Office and subordinate Trade Unions.

The 17th Grassroots Trade Union Congress of Construction Joint Stock Company 47 for the 2025–2030 term was organized in accordance with the prescribed procedures, including major contents: delegate reception and verification; flag-salute ceremony; statement of purpose and introduction of delegates; presentation of the summary report for the 2023–2025 term and orientation for the new term; report of the Executive Committee; discussion of thematic papers; directives from Company leadership, Party Committee and superior Trade Union leaders; approval of personnel proposals; election of the Executive Committee for Term XVII and election of delegates to attend the 1st Congress of the Vietnam National Union of Agriculture and Environment Workers (Term 2025–2030); introduction of the new Executive Committee and farewell to members of Term XVI not continuing to serve; approval of the Congress Resolution and closing ceremony. The Congress took place in a democratic, united atmosphere, demonstrating the high sense of responsibility of all trade union members and employees of the Company.

In his speech at the Congress, Mr. Pham Nam Phong – Chairman of the Board of Directors expressed his sincere thanks to all delegates for attending the Congress and highly appreciated the positive contributions of the Trade Union in the past term. He emphasized that the Trade Union has fulfilled its role as a bridge between employees and the Company’s leadership, promptly taking care of employees’ welfare and creating a united and cohesive environment, contributing to maintaining production stability and enhancing working spirit throughout the Company. He also acknowledged the valuable thematic discussion papers presented at the Congress, which provided practical insights, addressed key issues directly, and reflected the essential priorities of current production operations and trade union activities; particularly the discussion on improving skills and shifting from a passive mindset of waiting for evaluation cycles to proactive learning, competency accumulation and contributing to operational efficiency through the Impact Plan — creating strong influence and inspiration among trade union members and employees in practicing the Company’s cultural values based on 05 core values: “Courage – Responsibility – Integrity – Innovation – Unity”. He expressed his belief that the newly elected Executive Committee will continue promoting innovation, creativity, and responsibility to accompany the strategic direction “Breakthrough Transformation – Reaching Global Heights”, enabling CC47 to achieve stronger development in the coming period.

Mr. Duong Minh Quang – Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of CC47, representing the employer and the Party Committee also delivered directives at the Congress. He emphasized his pride in the 50-year transformational journey reaching international scale of CC47’s workforce; expressed gratitude for the strong contribution and companionship of the Trade Union and especially the trade union members themselves — the core foundation of the Company’s growth and success. On behalf of the Party Committee, he wished that the Trade Union would continue to grow, successfully achieve and exceed performance targets, and contribute significantly to the Company’s development in the new era.

At the Congress, Comrade Phan Thi Hue – Vice President of the Vietnam National Union of Agriculture and Environment Workers acknowledged and commended the remarkable achievements of CC47’s Trade Union, especially in supporting employee welfare and accompanying workers at remote and challenging construction sites. She expressed her confidence that the new Executive Committee will continue to uphold achievements, promote effective movement activities, and build a more professional, cohesive and dedicated workforce.

In the spirit of democracy, solidarity and responsibility, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union Term XVII, 2025–2030 consisting of 09 members; Comrade Nguyen Van Tuan was elected as Chairman and Comrade Ho Van Thuy was elected Vice Chairman cum Head of the Company Trade Union Inspection Committee for the 2025–2030 term. At the same time, the Congress respectfully bid farewell and expressed deep gratitude to members of the Executive Committee Term XVI who are not continuing in the new term, recognizing their devoted contributions and meaningful dedication.

During the Congress, to support Trade Union members and employees affected by storms and floods, representatives of the superior Trade Union presented assistance of VND 50 million from the Vietnam National Union of Agriculture and Environment Workers; the Company’s leadership also contributed VND 267.5 million to employees in the spirit of compassion, humanity and responsibility — a strong value always present in the core cultural identity of CC47.
